What I Did
- Designed and implemented an automated MRI ROI analysis pipeline in Python
- Translated published research algorithms and mathematical descriptions into working code
- Extended existing ROI standardization approaches with clustering-based modifications
Impact
- Reduced MRI ROI analysis time to under one minute per scan (~180x improvement over manual workflows)
- Implemented a novel clustering-based extension to an existing ROI standardization method
